project overview
For the grand opening of SportsZone, the Franklin Institute’s newest permanent exhibit, I was tasked with creating two different invitations; one ticket for general admission on opening day and another for the opening gala. Both ticket designs were inspired by retro sport memorabilia. The opening day ticket was designed to look like an old baseball game ticket, with a perforation so ticket holders could even rip off “Admit One.” The gala invitation was a collectable pennant. Those who received the invitation could punch out the pennant and hang it around their home or office as a reminder for the event date.
