Lauren is a designer living in Baltimore, Maryland.
I currently work as Senior Brand Designer for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. At the Symphony, I lead the organization's visual direction across print, digital, and environmental platforms. I develop and maintain the Symphony’s institutional brand identity, create branding systems for each concert season, and design key art for every in-house performance.
Prior to the Symphony, I worked as Senior Content & Design Strategist for CultureConnect, Design Manager at Philadelphia's The Franklin Institute, and Designer at Level Design. I have also taught in the Integrated Design MFA program at the University of Baltimore.
I received my MFA in Design from The University of Texas at Austin. My thesis, Six Principles for Redesigning Museum Interpretation, sought to discover interactive ways museums can provide content to its visitors beyond the traditional label and content panel. During my time at UT, I was awarded a design fellowship at the Design Institute for Health at the Dell Medical School.
I received my BFA with honors in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts (RIP).
When I'm not designing, I'm probably riding my bike, cooking breakfast (anytime of the day), or visiting a museum with my husband & son.
